Summer 2009 saw the release of Museum of Bellas Artes’ now classic Sapphires cover “Who Do You Love”. The record was fantastically well received worldwide and people wanted to hear more. And now Museum of Bellas Artes are back, with a host of new tunes. MBA aren’t a band that simply came together, recorded one song and hit the big time. It was rather more of a Darwinesque process, a kind of dream-team of sorts, comprised of individuals who found each other organically. After a period underground, maintaining radio silence, the band are now ready to open the doors to their museum and let the public in to wander amongst their magical gardens. First came a seven inch, a collaborative release between Force Majeure and Transparent entitled “Watch The Glow”. The track was then re-released as part of an E.P. again on Force Majeure. The band create gleeful, catchy pop tunes full of sharp beats, harmonies and sounds that do their level best to convince us that it really still is summer…
