Myrull (Vidar Arntsen & Rebecca Reimers) impart honest and intimate tales of the beautiful, the painful and the mundane. With lyrics written in their native Southern dialect and performed with acoustic touches, the band bring new life to the folk genre. The band played their first local shows in the South West of Norway in 2009 and have recently begun to secure some plumb opening spots for the likes of Vamp and Helene Bøksle. Myrull released their first single in July of last year and their debut L.P. is planned for early 2011. On single “Bodhi” the band collaborate with Arne Skage Jr. on lap steel, John Lilja on bass, Stene Osmundsen on drums and features Helene Bøksle on backing vocals.
