Kenton Slash Demon are amongst the most promising new talents coming out of Denmark right now. These two boys have had a whole load of attention, even though they’re yet to release much in the way of material. Their sound is both organic and futuristic, with their huge talent for production pushing the envelope of what would commonly be expected from what is essentially club music. Kenton Slash Demon want to make music not only for the dancefloor but also that is equally comfortable coming from your home hi-fi. Childhood friends Silas Moldenhawer and Jonas Kenton are also members of the not entirely unknown Danish band When Saints Go Machine, but have always had the Kenton Slash demon thing running alongside. Whilst work was under way for When Saints Go Machine’s own debut L.P. the boys dropped their own critically acclaimed Khattabi EP". After gigs all over Europe, Kenton Slash Demon have also begun to build a fearsome reputation for their creative and dynamic DJ sets. All the while the band have been compiling tracks for their next project, a trilogy entitled “The Schwarzschild Solution”. The first installment “SUN” surfaced in August 2010 and is already one of the most hyped records of the year. Receiving love from the likes of Hot Chip, John Talabot, Gold Panda, Tiefschwarz, DOP and Catz ‘N’ Dogz, the latter calling the release “One of the best records this year.”
