Stina has been singing with Jan Tore Lauritsen & The Buckshot Hunters since 2002 and has also had the pleasure of performing alongside a number of her heroes, Jan Werner Danielsen, Kåre Conradi and Georgie Fame amongst others. In terms of inspiration, she mostly draws on good old soul, and occasionally elements of blues and jazz. Stina loves music with power and songs with real meaning. Her veteran backing band is comprised of guys who’ve literally played all over and have been playing for a very long time. Paul ”Palle” Wagnberg perhaps needs little or no introduction, having feted audiences and critics alike with his mastery of the Hammond B3 over a career spanning three decades, and is perhaps best known for his work with The Real Thing. Union Cup 2006 winners Bedrock Bluesband’s Stian Haslie takes up duties on guitar, whilst The Men They Couldn’t Shave’s Borgar Skoveng is on bass and last but not least, Bergen scene stalwart Tor Mikael Larsen is on drums. In October 2009 Stina released her debut full length, ’Kissing Fools" to critical acclaim.
