Black City play the kind of solid rock that you’d associate with the likes of The Foo Fighters but with a hint of stoner references, say Fu Manchu for example. Their first album was released by Universal in their native Denmark in 2010 and is now scheduled for release in the rest of Scandinavia and Germany too. The first single “Summertime” has been in heavy rotation on Danish P3 throughout the summer and since the record came out the band have opened for the likes of AC/DC and Ozzy as well as festival slots at Pot and Start! amongst others.
